SUPER SOIL
FERTILIZER

25/50 Kilograms

Description

OM SSF is a naturally produced, soil amendment  that addresses plants’ nutritional needs holistically by improving the quality on the soil biome. It is a nutritionally and microbially rich product that can be used as a soil fertilizer and a microbial inoculant, and applied in multiple ways like sheet spreading, planting hole injection, and compost inoculation. SSF comes in two different formulations; the starter mix, which is meant to bring more fertilizer potency to a newly established field, and the Primer formulation that is meant for maintenance after a field has already been well conditioned.

Usage

As as field compost inoculant
SSF should be added to ten times it’s volume in compost, mixed thoroughly and allowed to incubate for a period of no less than 21, but ideally up to 90, days before use.

As a planting hole additive
SSF should be measured by weight depending on crop type, and mixed with inoculated compost and field soil and applied to the planting hole at time of transplant.

Storage

Stack bags out of direct sunlight cover stack loosely with a tarp to minimize evaporation loss.

NURSERY SOIL

25/50 Kilograms

Description

OM Nursery Super Soil is specifically designed for starting seedlings and cuttings in seedling trays, and poly bags.  It has the same microbial composition as our Super Soil Fertilizer but also a hormonal and nutritional make-up that caters to the special needs of plants in the early stages of  root and vegetative growth.

Storage

Stack bags out of direct sunlight cover stack loosely with a tarp to minimize evaporation loss.

COMPOST

50 Kilograms

Description

Open Field Compositing is a method of composting specifically developed by Organic Matters. It responds to the extremes in temperature and humidity, by adjusting compost making procedures developed in more temperate climates to be more applicable to Liberian growing conditions. Our compost feeder stock is sourced carefully to produce a medium with  a unique combination of nutrient density, microbial diversity and structural integrity. When When inoculated with our Super Soil Fertilizer and incorporated into your soil mix, it is instrumental in achieving the combination of good permeability in the rainy season and water retention in the dry.

Usage

As as field inoculant

Compost should be amended with 10% of it’s volume of Super Soil Fertilizer , mixed thoroughly and allowed to incubate for a period of no less than 21, but ideally up to 90, days before use.

After the incubation period, the inoculated compost should be spread liberally on the planting area surface, at a rate of about 3kg/m2, then sprayed with light CT application, and finally topped with mulch as instructed.

As a planting hole additive
SSF should be measured by weight depending on crop type, mixed with inoculated compost and field soil and applied to the planting hole at time of transplant.

Storage

Stack bags out of direct sunlight cover stack loosely with a tarp to minimize evaporation loss.

MULCH

50 Kilograms

Description

Our Mulching product brings well aged and well composted microbially supportive top layer soil protection to your growing beds. When applied correctly, it keeps your root zone cool, maintaining temperatures and light levels that are perfect for microbial development.

Usage

Mulch should be applied liberally to cropping areas, ideally in the final steps of the initial bed preparation. It should be applied to affect at least 70% soil surface coverage, but may be more effective if applied one to two inches thick.

Storage

Stack bags out of direct sunlight cover stack loosely with a tarp to minimize evaporation loss.

COMPOST TEA

20l/10/1.5l

Description

The liquid version of our super soil fertilizer, compost tea is a great way to deliver a quick punch of microbial, hormonal and nutritional benefit to both the plant and soil. Whether used a foliar application or soil drench, CT delivers that same biochemical composition of SSF to large areas fast and economically.

Usage

As a soil drench, CT can be diluted up to 1:10 with water. It should be applied to the base of the plant through the mulch layer to soak the root zone of the cropping area.

As a foliar feed, CT can be diluted up to 1:10 with water. It should be applied lightly, as a fine mist to the under-surface of the leaf.

Note that 1:10 dilution may not be as effective as full concentration, and some plants experience leaf damage from full concentration. You should always test the concentration on a small number of plants prior to engaging the whole field.

Spraying should be done weekly, within two hours of dusk to minimize the risk of leaf burn, and to maximize microbial growth.

Soil drenching should be a monthly activity can substitute an irrigation session.
